Flower Boys coming for Valentine show

cant see the pic of KyuJong in the newspaper so i will just add the pic of KJ.. anyway, after Manila Bulletin, now its the Philippine Star, one of Local Newspaper, who featured our Flower Boys.. i hope this fanmeet will be successful and memorable to all of us ^_^

Good news for K-Pop fans: Flower Boys Kyu Jong and Young Saeng will be here on Feb. 5 for a meet-and-greet/showcase as part of their Asian tour.

The two are popular among Filipino fans as members of the boy band SS501 which sang some of the songs in Boys Over Flowers, the Koreanovela aired on ABS-CBN. They’ve become known as Flower Boys since then.

The Asian tour is their way of saying thank you to their fans for their unwavering support through the years.

Kyu Jong and Young Saeng first gained prominence in Asia as members of SS501 whose other members are scattered in four different agencies. But they can always regroup if needed and if their schedules permit. Young Saeng’s voice is said to be the “vocal backbone” of SS501 because of its strength and clarity, while Kyu Jong’s is part of the group’s “middle vocals, the heart of the group.” The popularity of SS501 skyrocketed after their leader, Kim Hyun Joong, gained superstar status when he played a major role in the global blockbuster drama Boys Over Flowers as Ji-Hoo.

Their Asian tour was kicked off in Seoul on Dec. 4 last year, with stops in Bangkok on Dec. 11. Next is the Hong Kong leg of the tour before they fly to Japan and then to Manila. It is Kyu Jong and Young Saeng’s first meet-and-greet with fans after they signed up with B2M  Entertainment, an artist agency owned by fellow artist-singer Lee Hyori. The event serves as a breather before both superstars concentrate on their careers. Young Saeng will release an album during the first half of 2011 while Kyu Jong will concentrate on drama.

The meet-and-greet/showcase will be held at the PICC’s The Forum 2 at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 5 (a Saturday). Tickets are priced at P6,950 (VIP); P4,950 (Green); P3,450 (Gold); and P2,000 (Silver).

According to the producers, as bonus 100 VIP ticket holders will have a chance to shake hands with Kyu Jong and Young Saeng, to be decided in a raffle for VIP ticket holders and sponsors only.

The first 100 Green ticket holders will have a chance to bring home an autographed poster.

The Philippine leg of the tour is presented by Greenlights Events & Productions Phils., Inc. in cooperation with B2M Entertainment and Mays Entertainment, with Sofitel Philippine Plaza as the official residence of the tour
