SS501’s Kim Hyung Jun celebrates 25th birthday with fans [03.08.11]


Singer Kim Hyung Jun from SS501 had a great time with his fans on his birthday.

On August 3rd, the charismatic singer threw the “Two! Five!” mini concert for his 25th birthday at the Yonsei University 100th Memorial Concert Hall which is located in Seodaemun gu, Seoul.

He started the concert by singing his hit song, ‘My girl’ at 7PM. 600 fans greeted him by yelling out a loud cheer when he finally appeared on stage.

After his first song, Hyung Jun stated, “I prepared a lot, please keep your eyes on me, and enjoy”.

After that, he greeted the fans singing “Sleepless Night” which was recently released in Japan, he also sang “If this Night Passes”.

Kim Hyung Jun also stated, “I just came back from Japan after my first Japanese single” and also added that he has worked very hard similar to that of a rookie performer. He also mentioned that he will be holding a fan signing event and will also appear on upcoming broadcasts.

Besides the concert itself, there were fun side events such as a lottery raffle for various prizes. All in all, he made the atmosphere fun with his quick wit and jokes. He also spent some time cutting his 25th birthday cake, and opened lovely birthday gifts that were given to him by his beloved fans.

His good friend, comedian Han Min Kwan, MC’ed the event. His younger brother Ki Bum and G.O from MBLAQ also made a special guest appearance.

Kim Hyung Jun concluded the event by inviting fans who won the main lottery raffle to the stage, and gave them some presents, he also took pictures together with the winners.
